The SilverLakes Experience – A wonderful community gathering
Over 200 guests, city officials and community leaders enjoyed a beautiful day of riding and a SilverLakes brunch at the “Ranch”. The Ranch consists of 5 equestrian arenas with custom blend footing allowing us to host a variety of disciplines. The morning started with a flag ceremony from the PCRA Rodeo Queens followed by a welcome from RJ Brandes, General Manager of SilverLakes.
“Creating a beautiful and accessible equestrian facility for the Norco community is at the core of our mission at SilverLakes. We have worked very hard to get to this point, hosting multiple events and now making our facilities available to our neighbors and community partners. We were excited to welcome so many local residents and their horses to experience our facilities and to share where the The Ranch at SilverLakes is going from here,” said RJ Brandes, general manager, SilverLakes.
All five full sized arenas were open and available during the “Silverlakes Experience” event. Each arena was dedicated to a particular discipline or activity, including: Dressage, Walk/Trot, Canter and Lope, Barrels and Polls, and Ranch Obstacles. Each of the large riding arenas has custom blend footings to ensure the safety of the riders and horses. Valley Fence, the provider of the equestrian fencing at the facility, served as the generous sponsor of the community event.
“We look forward to hosting this event again and opening up the arenas to the community.
