It’s been a very difficult time for many of us, our community and country. As we start to open back up, we wanted to take this opportunity and tell you about all the exciting new things coming to SL in the next few weeks.
First, we are so happy to see our home club @LegendsFC back on the fields with a Day Camp for soccer athletes. We’ve missed seeing the kids out here competing to get to the next level. It’s been a very difficult time for many and we thank you for coming back and adjusting to the new guidelines we are following to ensure we keep everyone safe.
As with so many businesses, SilverLakes has had to evolve to adapt to the changing conditions. The mission of SilverLakes is and continues to be all about our youth and providing an amazing experience for young athletes and their families. To this end, we are carefully following all CDC Guidelines and County Regulations to ensure a safe environment for each of our activities.
The FieldHouse Restaurant had been doing curbside service and recently shifted to opening the seating on our patio with our modified hours, Wednesday-Saturday from 4:00-9:00 p.m. We have appreciated the continued support of our regular customers and are happy to see so many of our guests come back and join us.
The restaurant has been selected as one of the participating restaurants in the Great Plates Program and we have been honored to feed close to 100 seniors in the community; breakfast, lunch and dinner every day.
The tented FieldHouse Pavillion is now the home of a Catholic Mass on Sundays, allowing the congregation to worship in a location that allows for CDC compliance and social distancing.
Lastly, we are excited to announce a partnership with Lifeline Health Services, Inc. and COVID Clinic, to provide the community with a local drive-through COVID-19 Testing Facility. Lifeline’s Ultra Labs are designed to provide an easy and convenient testing experience, with results delivered same day. Lifeline’s medical partner, COVID Clinic, is one of the few testing groups currently administering a Rapid COVID-19 Test with emergency use authorization from the FDA. We are proud to share that the Rapid Tests are now offered at this location.
The SilverLakes Site opened on Monday, June 29, with a soft launch. All visits are by appointment only, and guest flow has been monitored closely to allow the medical teams to prepare for a larger volume of testing, without compromising the customer-service driven experience. Guests at no point exit their vehicles, providing a safe and clean environment for all by mitigating any potential exposure.
As SilverLakes sits on a spacious 130-acre property, we were able to give the Testing Facility an isolated portion of the premises. Anyone visiting to get tested is asked to use the North Entrance, and our daily guests will continue to have unimpeded access to all amenities through the Main Gate.
